Does that mean that there is a deliberate subtext or a subversive inclination to convert us all, covertly to Judaism?Do we even have to enter into that debate?Is the UK sitcom "My Family" only preaching middle class values? Because Martin Scorcese makes "The Last Temptation of Christ" is he on a mission of enquiry or simply the promotion of Christian dogma? Are we to seriously express our view that all films made by people of a Christian orientation are with the express purpose of cajoling us to accept the teachings of Christ. Where is the moral high ground here? Or is it just a high falootin' hack getting it so wrong? The worrying thing is that I consider this guy to be something of a KKK kind of fascist, limited, narrow of view and cynical enough to want to degrade a show that is the best thing to come from US television sice "Frasier".What is this guy's problem? We all make creative expressions based upon our background and experience as well as our wider view, if we are lucky to have one.
