Try this tip: Run secpol.msc Go to: Local Policies > Security Options Find “Network Security: LAN Manager authentication level” Change Setting from “Send NTLMv2 response only” to “Send LM & NTLM – use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated”

Avoid airport rogue wifi networks

A very good tip, and this applies to more than airports. If you are using an unsecured wireless network of unknown origin, you should at least try ensure your connections (mail, http, etc) are SSL secured.
