Last.fm is awesome
I may have mentioned Audioscrobbler before, a website that in conjunction with a plugin for your computer mp3 player (winamp, itunes, etc) records what you listen to and suggests what else you might like, tells you your musical "neighbours" and so on.
The same people do
last.fm, a similar system which takes this data and streams a radio system based on your preferences that you can further tune. You can also listen to other user's radio stations, genre based programming etc.
The basic service is free, but the full service is a mere £1.50 a month - I'd be surprised if that pays their bandwidth bills.
